In May of this year, Michelle Williams FF/LP, was 1 of 60 out of a group of over 1100 applicants, chosen by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), to join them near Boston, MA for a focus group of Rural Firefighters to discuss fire and life safety issues for smaller rural communities.  Almost every state was represented, as well as Canada.  The 2 day symposium was completely covered by the NFPA.  They will take all the information gathered from the participants and use it to update needs, rules and regulations for national use. 


NFPA Rural Fire and Life Safety Symposium on May 12th and 13th at the NFPA Conference Center in Quincy, Massachusetts. This event will bring together more than 60 fire department members from across North America and NFPA staff members who work in the areas of fire and life safety.
