Sanger Deploys Resources to South Texas in Wake of Hurricane Harvey
08/29/2017

The City of Sanger has deployed a fire engine to South Texas to aid in emergency response in the
aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Since most of our fire personnel are part-time and work full-time
at other departments, the engine is being staffed by four personnel from the Lewisville Fire
Department. This unit is part of three strike forces consisting of five engines each being deployed
from Denton and Tarrant counties. They will be operating in the Corpus Christi and Rockport
areas.

Sanger is proud to assist our fellow Texans in their time of need. Please keep all of the first
responders and those affected by this unprecedented disaster in your thoughts and prayers.
