McReynolds Road will still be under construction at the start of the
2017-2018 school year. The picture posted shows where the temporary
traffic lights will be placed along with barricades and road closure
signs. If traveling this route, expect delays and plan accordingly.
Pavecon Public Works is under contract with the City of Sanger to
reconstruct and improve McReynolds Road. During the upcoming
construction there will be revised traffic patterns. Beginning today
August 14, 2017 we are going to implement a traffic switch that will
allow two way traffic from the end of the new concrete to East Ridge.
School is starting this week and the
need for two way traffic is mandatory. This will be accomplished using
temporary traffic signals. When traffic is stopped at one of the
signals at Lake Ridge or Indian Lane traffic will be unable to turn on
red. Once the light is green traffic can travel east or west on
McReynolds from Lake Ridge or Indian Lane. Please understand the lights
will govern the traffic that has access to the one lane of paving
provided. We will begin this work after the morning rush hour. It will
be in place before the afternoon rush hour.
