In an effort to better serve its citizens, the City of Sanger has launched its first mobile application. This free app is compatible with Android and iOS based devices. It is available in the Google Play Store or iTunes store under the name Sanger Solutions.
“This is a new way our citizens can stay engaged with the City of Sanger. Our society is seeing an increase in the use of portable devices, so our City is adapting to that and providing that link to citizens through smart devices,” said Mike Brice, City Manager. Residents will be able to receive information and connect with the City across all mobile devices. This includes reporting service issues, pay utilities, pay court fines, special events and connecting to a variety of other City information.
The app is designed to allow users to efficiently get the information they seek from any smartphone. The smartphone app utilizes icons that correspond to the most visited and searched for items on the City’s website. The app will continuously evolve to better respond to the citizen’s needs. It will be updated frequently to provide quick access to content of a time sensitive nature such as special events or upcoming city activities The goal is to make it the most relevant information available right now and provide for more transparency.,
The launch of the Sanger Solutions mobile app is part of a broader effort undertaken by the City of Sanger to enhance communication with its residents and provide better services. Several other initiatives will be announced in the following months.
