For the past 2 months Felix Construction continues to make progress with
the Plant Rehabilitation/Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion projects.
They primarily worked on the raw wastewater pump station and the peak

As a result of the line flushing process, residents in the immediate
area of the work may experience temporary discoloration of their water.
This discoloration consists primarily of harmless silt and air and does
not affect the safety of the water. If you experience discoloration in
your water after crews have been flushing in your neighborhood, clear
the pipes in your home by running all water faucets for a few minutes.
We're sure all of you have been waiting on this. And we appreciate your patience. 5th Street between Cowling and Austin should be re-opened by the end of
the day. Crews are moving barricades and cleaning the roads now.
